Purda from strange women
Question
I had a woman teacher from my childhood when I was only 7. She loves me as her son. I also love her as I love my mom. Does she have any rights over me? What does Islam say about it?
Answer
As you have come of age then there should be a distance between you and a strange woman. The kindness could be shown in some other way e.g. if you need to give a present then let it be through your mother or sister.
