I would like to know if I am allowed to burry my wife even if her father and brothers arealive and at the funeral. Can I go into the kabr and burry her?

I would like to know if I am allowed to burry my wife even if her father and brothers arealive and at the funeral. Can I go into the kabr and burry her? If you answer NO then please explain and if YES also explain.

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

It is permissible for a husband to bury his wife in the presence of her father and brothers. (Fatawaa Rahimiyyah, vol 5, pg 65)
