Is it permissible to send or receive Quran translations by post?
Question
Can you please tell me if it is permissable to send/receive quran translations by post?
Answer
n the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If there is a genuine need to post Qurans, for example to a foreign country then utmost care should be taken to respect the Quran through proper packaging etc.
The post should also be labelled as fragile and registered with a condition to be returned if not collected.
And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
