Question

I am a work from home Muslimah managing to meet ends. I have started selling marinated meat. Alhamdulillah many people do like it. I have been getting many phone calls from people requesting for my recipe. Is it permissible for me not to disclose it?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for you not to disclose the recipe.
