Guidelines to Intimate Relations

Question

Assalamualaikum, I had a few questions that I wanted to be answered. May Allah bless you brothers and help you with this great effort you guys are doing for this ummah.Ameen. 1) is it permissible for a man to give oral sex to his wife? 2) since a lot of the desi parents usually don’t like to talk about how to have sex with there spouses, so is there any book (preferably English ) which might explain such thing as to how to please a woman after marriage?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Aameen to your duas.

(1) The need for intimacy between spouses is natural. However, it should be fulfilled with shame, modesty and dignity. Whilst foreplay is permissible, it is not appropriate to engage in oral sex. [1]

(2) You may refer to the book ‘Islamic Guide To Sexual Relations’ authored by Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam Al-Kawthari Hafidhahullah.
