Can I keep my son name "Huraira"?

JazakALLAH

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Huraira means kitten. A Sahaabi was named Abu Huraira (father of a kitten) by Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

Huraira is a suitable name for a boy. However, it is better and advisable to keep the name Abu Huraira.
