Did this invalidate my fast?

Question

I inserted my finger in my wifes vagina in the state of fast and then realised my mistake and stopped. We did not have any sexual intercourse or anything of that sort. Did this break my fast. What do I have to do for repentence of this sin.

Answer

The act in reference was not permissible and you should sincerely repent. However, that does not invalidate your fast.
