assalaam-o-aliakum, if the cow is first stunned, so the cow becomes paralyzed, so its easy to zabiha the cow, is the meat going to be halal or not, fi amanallah
Question
assalaam-o-aliakum, if the cow is first stunned, so the cow becomes paralyzed, so its easy to zabiha the cow, is the meat going to be halal or not, fi amanallah
Answer
It is Makrooh to stun the animal for the convenience of Zabah. An alternate method should be adopted for the convenience of Zabah. However, if the animal is slaughtered after being stunned, and is alive, the Zabah will be correct and the meat will be Halaal.

Is stunning before slaughter permissible?
“The animal should not be stunned. Stunning the animal before slaughtering it is against the sunnah. If the animal experiences alot of pain, then stunning the animal will be makrooh-e-tahreemi.”
