Question

Does taking a blood test break Wudhu and Ghusal?

Answer

In taking a blood test, if the blood extracted is to the extent that if the needle etc. was not there, the blood would have flowed out of the area of extraction, then in such a case, a person’s Wudhu will be null and void. However, Ghusal will not be necessary. (Fatawaa Raheemiyyah 4/23)
