Question

Does taking a blood test break Wudhu and Ghusal?

Answer

If the blood test only requires a drop of blood e.g. finger-prick, then this will not break the Wudhu unless the blood flows beyond the point of extraction. If the blood test requires a vial of blood, then the Wudhu will break. However the removal of blood does not affect one’s Ghusl. (Fatawaa Raheemiyyah 4/23)
