Performing Salaah behind a shia

Question

Why is it not permissible to pray behind a shia jamaath even when they do believe in Allah?

Answer

Christians also believe in Allah Ta`ala. The Shiahs' belief is corrupt. Most of them believe that the Qur'aan Shareef is not the original Qur'aan i.e. the Qur'aan na`oozubillah has been distorted. To subscribe to such a belief that even one word of the Qur'aan has been changed amounts to disbelief.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
