Performing Umrah in the state of istihaadhah

At six weeks, the limbs of the foetus are not formed. Hence, if the blood flowed for three days or more, this bleeding will be regarded as haidh.

In such a situation, a woman will follow her previous menstrual cycle. For example, if her previous menstrual cycle was five days and she now bled for over ten days, five days will be regarded as haidh and the remainder days will be regarded as istihaadhah.

In the state of istihaadhah, a woman has to perform salaah and she will conduct in the same way as a pure woman conducts (i.e. a woman who is not experiencing haidh). In the state of istihaadhah, a woman can enter Musjid-ul-Haraam and perform umrah.
