Leaving the home in iddat and adopting purdah from non-mahrams in the home
Question
1. Is it necessary for a women to stay for the entire 3 months exclusively at home after her talaaq? Can she can go anywhere?
2. If she is staying in a joint family as there is a problem with parda then what is the ruling for her? How she can spend her 3 months there?
Answer
1. She is not allowed to go anywhere without a very valid reason.
2. The joint family should be reasonable enough to make the arrangements for her.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
