Hadith: مَن استغفر للمؤمنين والمؤمنات

Question

Is the following hadeeth Sahih and what is the reference? مَن استغفر للمؤمنين والمؤمنات كتب له بكل مؤمن حسنة

Answer

Yes. Refer to Majmauz Zawaaid 10/210.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

وعن عبادة بن الصامت قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يقول من استغفر للمؤمنين والمؤمنات كتب الله له بكل مؤمن ومؤمنة حسنة رواه الطبراني وإسناده جيد (مجمع الزوائد 10/210)
