Question

Asking for a family member... It's now time for qurbaani but they have money saved with the intention for aqeeqah for their son... What should be done in this case?

Answer

If qurbaani is compulsory upon them, then they should first do their waajib qurbaani. They may delay the aqeeqah for a later period.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
