Cursing one's child

Question

One of my acquaintance curses his daughter with haraam animal (pig) whenever he is angry or in rage. Kindly explain what are the precautions to be taken and what consequences can be held against that person in the eyes of Allah!

Answer

He should not use such words for the child. Many parents are not careful and in later years they have great regret. These curses sometimes affect the child.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
