Landlord permitting his tenant to sell fireworks

Question

I wanted to ask if it is permissible for one to lease out a shop to a non-Muslim who wants to sell fireworks for November, December and January. He then wants to continue selling furniture.

Answer

Selling fireworks is not haraam. However, it is disliked. Hence, the money earned through leasing one's premises to a person who sells fireworks will not be haraam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
