Back or chest facing the Ka'bah during tawaaf due to construction barriers

Question

During tawaf on the first floor there are times where construction barriers are blocking off certain areas. It is such that we have to walk diagonally where our shoulder moves away from the Kaabah and it seems like our back is facing the Kaabah (but we can't be certain because we can't see the Kaabah from the first floor). It happens few times during tawaaf. What should we do in this situation?

Answer

When moving away from the barriers, then ensure that you do not turn completely where your back or chest faces the Ka'bah Shareef.

If you feel that your back or chest had turned towards the Ka'bah Shareef, then go back and repeat that amount of tawaaf. If you had completed the tawaaf, then make istighfaar and give some sadaqah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
