Question

If I would like to perform an umrah on behalf of the deceased, do I have to perform an umrah for each marhoom or will one suffice for all if intention is made for all of them.

Answer

You can perform one umrah for each marhoom separately or you can perform one umrah and convey the reward of the umrah to many marhooms collectively. Both ways are permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
