Their son 28 years has also been accredited In the second round of accreditation the wishes to go for Hajj. Is it the sons responsibility to first send his parents ?
Answer
The financial responsibility of one’s parents includes the necessities of life such as shelter, food and clothing. (Shaami 3/571)
It does not include sending one’s parents for Hajj. However, if one does so, it would be of great reward and a form of goodwill towards one’s parents, which is encouraged in Shariah.
